REVIEW: VeggieTales Lettuce Love One Another DVD!

We are such big VeggieTales fans around here!!  They have come out with a great Valentines Day collection! Lettuce Love One Another includes three popular shows:

Tomato Sawyer & Huckleberry Larry's Big River Rescue,
Abe and the Amazing Promise
King George and the Ducky.

New animated “Bible bits” are also in this collection! They offer examples of giving, loving, forgiving, helping, praying and sharing which are important values that we want to pass on to our children.  The Bible bits on this DVD are some of my favorite bible stories, including the Unprofitable Servant!  VeggieTales offers this FUN way to learn valuable lessons...for ME too..not just the kids.  As always the episodes are funny for any age!

Lettuce Love One Another DVD is selling for  $12.99 or you can find it on Amazon for $9.99!  I watched this with my kids yesterday and they loved the whole thing!  I especially loved the story of Tomato Sawyer and Huckleberry Larry.  It is a great lesson on why we should help others.  Teaching our kids how to behave in society is made easier with these episodes!  Plus this would make a great gift for Valentines Day that can be enjoyed all year long!

Also included on the DVD:
 · 3 Silly Songs and other bonus features!
 · New animated “Bible bits” that feature lessons in forgiveness, helping, giving, praying and sharing!

I was given a DVD for review purposes.  All opinions are my own.

Gardner Village Series: Country Furniture & Gifts

Gardner Village is a local treasure. If you've never found your way down there, October is the month to do it!  The shop owners love Halloween! The village becomes a witch village and many times, shop owners will even dress up.   On my most recent trip to Gardner Village, I stopped in at Country Furniture & Gifts which is a store very ready for Halloween.

The store is located in part of the old restored flour mill built in 1877 by Archibald Gardner in West Jordan, Utah.  The store is very family oriented and houses many built-to-last items such as dining room tables, sofas, beds and chairs.  They are also famous for their rug room where many of their rugs are still USA made. As they say, "A rug makes a huge impact for a minimum investment to any room."

The home accessories and giftware are amazing!  They have all sorts of decor for all sorts of personalities. Please be sure to pay them a visit.  It's worth it!
