I don't have any babies in the house, but we all have sensitive skin so I was happy to try out Purex Baby.  I really like the soft clean smell of this laundry detergent.  I don't know how it works on baby stains but it does just great with the daily toddler stains I encounter.  Like this one for example:

I dabbed some Purex Baby directly on the stain and threw it in the wash.  It came out perfect!!  YAY!! Which is great because he did that to it the FIRST time he wore it :)
