GIVEAWAY: Aquatopia Bath Toy Organizer!! -CLOSED-

Winner

The Aquatopia™ Bath Toy Organizer is so handy!  I needed something to reign in all my kids bath toys and not only does this do that, it's also used as a toy itself!
Ever since we got this my kids seem more eager to take a bath!!  It clamped easily to our standard tub and even has a place to keep a bar of soap!  I absolutely love it!  Clean up after a bath has never been easier!!  They see cleaning as the crocodile eating. :)

After a bath, it easily slides off its clamp to collect toys for drying & storing. When it comes time to bathe again, a simple tap on its head opens the mouth to pours toys back into the tub.  Great for even young kids.  My 3 and 5 year old needed no instruction to figure it out.  I love that it holds so many toys!!!  And the water easily, and effortlessly on my part, drains so it's one less thing I have to worry about after bath time.
 Features include:
• stores & drains wet bath toys in its head
• opens mouth to release toys back into water
• features a padded closure to protect curious little fingers
• includes a clamp with built-in soap dish
• installs easily on most tubs; no suction cups or hardware necessary
• delights children with its design and parents with its utility
The Aquatopia Bath Toy Organizer can be purchased in store or online at Babies R Us.  It's now on sale for $13.98!!  Keep up on sales and other great products with Aquatopia on Facebook!

Gardner Village Series: Country Furniture & Gifts

Gardner Village is a local treasure. If you've never found your way down there, October is the month to do it!  The shop owners love Halloween! The village becomes a witch village and many times, shop owners will even dress up.   On my most recent trip to Gardner Village, I stopped in at Country Furniture & Gifts which is a store very ready for Halloween.

The store is located in part of the old restored flour mill built in 1877 by Archibald Gardner in West Jordan, Utah.  The store is very family oriented and houses many built-to-last items such as dining room tables, sofas, beds and chairs.  They are also famous for their rug room where many of their rugs are still USA made. As they say, "A rug makes a huge impact for a minimum investment to any room."

The home accessories and giftware are amazing!  They have all sorts of decor for all sorts of personalities. Please be sure to pay them a visit.  It's worth it!

What to do with Apricots: Homemade Fruit Leather

Apricot Fruit Leather

sugar
cinnamon
nutmeg
lemon juice
1/2 c water

Add apricots and a 1/2 c of water to a saucepan on low heat.
Cover, stirring occasionally for 10 minutes.
Add sugar 1 T at a time till it tastes good
Add lemon juice 1 tsp at a time to taste
Add cinnamon to taste
Add nutmeg to taste - I did a lot of tastin'!! :)
Simmer for 5 minutes on low heat until thickened a bit

In batches add mixture to a blender
Blend until smooooooooth
Prepare baking sheet: line with microwaveable safe plastic wrap
Add mixture to sheet about 1/4 inch thick

MAKE SURE the plastic wrap doesn't fold over mixture and that it doesn't touch your oven
Bake at 140 degrees for 8 to 12 hours - fruit leathe…
