Vinyl Decals are so much fun!!  We just moved into a new house and all of our walls are pretty drab.  I've just now started putting pictures up and it helps A LOT.
What also helped was putting up this awesome train wall decal!!  My son's mouth actually dropped open when he saw it.  He still goes up to it and lovingly strokes it..lol

Vinyl Disorder has a HUGE selection (over 70,000) on wall stickers and you can choose what color you want it in!  It's a little hard to tell in the above picture but I chose green.  So now of course my son thinks Percy is on his wall :):)

The vinyl decal was super easy to install.  I first removed the back to show the sticky part, placed it on the wall where I wanted it, then used the plastic doohickey it came with to press it down.  Lastly you just pull the top layer of paper off slowly.  If you want it more precise you can use tape to secure it.  The instructions that come with are very user friendly.  The fact that I didn't make my husband do it attest to that.  Our walls are even a little textured and it still went on smoothly!
