Find It On Etsy GIVEAWAY: BugsyAndSprite City Skyline Print! (US/CAN) -CLOSED-

Review By Aimee

BugsyAndSprite on Etsy are in the business of making city skylines into art that is both "modern and useful."  When I first saw them on Etsy I was instantly drawn to the bright and fun colors of the back drop along with the simplicity of the black and white skylines.

The inspiration behind the BugsyAndSprite Cities Series Prints:

"Many of life's greatest memories are created by traveling, living and working around the globe.  Each city has an interesting unique landmark that when you look at it you say "that's my city".

For that reason, without really realizing it,  I chose this print of Oslo, Norway.  I chose this because of my husbands special connections here.  You have to admit, some places you have visited have a more sentimental connection than others. These city prints from BugsyAndSprite look great and add a simple style that doesn't take away from anything else you have up in your house. The great thing about these is that you can find a color in the background that will match your decor. I have decided to put this one up in my husbands office.  I think I may order some more for my house! :)

Change the background to desired color

Order BugsyAndSprite print bundles! Why you say? Here are some ideas. Have a special place your family visits every year?  Order several of the same pictures in a bundle (which includes a good discount), and then give them as unique, personalized Christmas gifts! How about the destination for a gift?  There are also some cities and countries available that have multiple picture options that would look stunning to hang together. Another option, get the same picture in several different colors and hang those together....get funky! ;)

Custom framing isn't needed with these.  The prints fit any 8x10 frame opening. The IKEA Ribba Frame is recommended (purchase at IKEA of course) for only 9.99 USD.  I love simplicity at a good cost!

For the duration of this giveaway, BugsyAndSprite on Etsy is offering Tight Wad In Utah readers a 15% discount! Use the code UTAHLOVE at checkout.  If you happen to win you can be refunded of your purchase if you choose. Don't miss this great offer!!!

WIN a BugsyAndSprite print of your own!
One reader will win a Print of Choice from BugsyAndSprite on Etsy! US and Canada only.

a Rafflecopter giveaway Giveaway will end September 11th at 11:59 p.m. EST  I was given one print from BugsyAndSprite to review.  No other compensation was received.  All opinions are my own.  This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook. We hereby release Facebook of any liability. Winner(s) will be contacted by email 48 hours after the giveaway ends. If you have any additional questions - feel free to send us an email!

I love the Santa Monica Pier painting.

I'd love to see BugsyAndSprite utilize those previews that change the color after choosing and clicking your color preference. I can't really seem to explain it better, but I've seen it for undergarments and bathing suits. It may be an expensive feature, though.

Or maybe at least specify which blue is being used, it's hard for me to imagine which one it is and how it would look with a different blue. The other colors are quite obvious, though.

At any rate, I love their designs and their artwork prints!!

Thank you to everyone for all of your comments! We love seeing which cities are near and dear.
@Claire B - Thank you for the feedback!
We would love to use a color preview, but unfortunately we are limited by what Etsy has built in to their site. We will look into labeling the blues soon :)
Thanks again!

Gardner Village Series: Country Furniture & Gifts

Gardner Village is a local treasure. If you've never found your way down there, October is the month to do it!  The shop owners love Halloween! The village becomes a witch village and many times, shop owners will even dress up.   On my most recent trip to Gardner Village, I stopped in at Country Furniture & Gifts which is a store very ready for Halloween.

The store is located in part of the old restored flour mill built in 1877 by Archibald Gardner in West Jordan, Utah.  The store is very family oriented and houses many built-to-last items such as dining room tables, sofas, beds and chairs.  They are also famous for their rug room where many of their rugs are still USA made. As they say, "A rug makes a huge impact for a minimum investment to any room."

The home accessories and giftware are amazing!  They have all sorts of decor for all sorts of personalities. Please be sure to pay them a visit.  It's worth it!

What to do with Apricots: Homemade Fruit Leather

If you have access to an apricot tree I highly suggest making fruit leather.  This was my first time attempting any kind of dried fruit and it turned out heavenly!

Apricot Fruit Leather

Add sugar 1 T at a time till it tastes good
Add lemon juice 1 tsp at a time to taste
