GIVEAWAY: Earth Mama Angel Baby! (US/CAN) -CLOSED-

Review by Aimee
Winner
I was drawn to Earth Mama Angel Baby because of my desire to include more organic and natural products for my body and baby to be. (Yep, I'm expecting! Yay! ) So, with that on the horizon I love that Earth Mama uses the "highest -quality, certified-organic" herbs and oils for their products, including: "teas, bath herbs, gentle handmade soaps, salves, lotions and massage oils."

From Earth Mama, Angel Baby Organics website:

"Earth Mama Angel Baby's pregnancy, childbirth and baby products were, ahem, born of our sincere faith in the natural process of birthing babies. Supporting the pure process naturally with nature's gifts makes sense to us....
Our products are 100% free of toxins, cruelty-free, gluten-free, vegan, and free from all artificial preservatives, fragrances and dyes. Our commitment to honor the earth and her valuable resources extends to our packaging as well - we use only eco-friendly recyclable or reused/reusable packaging and packing materials. It's true - we are even the proud recipients of the BRAG (Business Recycling Award Group) for our green practices. " Upon reading about Earth Mama, Angel Baby, I naturally wanted to support them."

I was able to review  "A Little Something for Mama-To-Be."  I must say I love this little kit.  The smell is WONDERFUL! I do wish the scent lasted a little longer, but I think during the most nauseous part in pregnancy (which I'm now past--hooray) would be perfect for.  I get sick of smelling almost everything after awhile at that point. haha! This would make the perfect gift for a friend, or an extra special treat for yourself; which you TOTALLY deserve! Growing a child in your body is a lot of work; agreed!? This kit includes Happy Mama Hand to Toe Wash, Happy Mama Spray, Earth Mama Body Butter, Natural Stretch Oil, and Organic Morning Wellness Tea, which helps "ease pregnancy nausea."

Check out Earth Mama, Angel Baby Organics several sites.  As I mentioned above they carry many different products that cater to mama to be, but also wonderful products for baby, nursing mama, family products, as well as special products for Baby Loss for comfort.  There is also a site for baby loss support which I thought was really great. Here is the Facebook link for Healing Hearts Baby Loss Comfort.  You can also check out Earth Mama's Blog and Mama's Herb Garden Blog for some information!

Freezer Homemade Fries & Sauce

I LOVE fries!  I would make them more but it seems like a hassle when I'm trying to get dinner ready, kids are screaming, and I'm trying to dodge cheerios on the floor.

Then along came freezer fries and my life is far richer (lol)....not the ones you buy at the store that kinda look potato-like, but the real things.  They are also MUCH cheaper.   So instead of letting your potatoes sit around, and hoping that you remember to use them, you can make fries....yum....

To see my post on what to do with a 10lb. bag of potatoes go to The Coupon Project.

First wash and scrub potatoes ( I don't peel because I think it's miserable work)
Cut into 1/2 inch fries
Toss with oil (I usually use Canola)
Add salt and a little sugar (makes them crispy)

Place them on a baking sheets and bake at 475 for 20 minutes (they will only be half cooked)
After baking, let them cool on paper or dish towels Put in freezer on sheet (I have a small freezer so I used pie tins) Let them freeze solid (ab…

Gardner Village Series: Country Furniture & Gifts

Gardner Village is a local treasure. If you've never found your way down there, October is the month to do it!  The shop owners love Halloween! The village becomes a witch village and many times, shop owners will even dress up.   On my most recent trip to Gardner Village, I stopped in at Country Furniture & Gifts which is a store very ready for Halloween.

The store is located in part of the old restored flour mill built in 1877 by Archibald Gardner in West Jordan, Utah.  The store is very family oriented and houses many built-to-last items such as dining room tables, sofas, beds and chairs.  They are also famous for their rug room where many of their rugs are still USA made. As they say, "A rug makes a huge impact for a minimum investment to any room."

The home accessories and giftware are amazing!  They have all sorts of decor for all sorts of personalities. Please be sure to pay them a visit.  It's worth it!
