Easy Rainbow Pancakes & Cake!

My daughter recently had a birthday and she says her favorite color is "Rainbow", so I made her rainbow pancakes and then a rainbow cake.  Which she LOVED!  I really try to have her mouth drop open at least once out of shock/surprise for her birthday. :) It really doesn't get much easier than this, which is good because of my current skill level.  Both were so easy in fact, that I don't think putting instructions is necessary.  The pictures do all the work :)  Although if you have any questions let me know :):)

Review: Barney Holiday Favorites 3-DVD Gift Set

Review by Aimee Recently released onto DVD,  Barney Holiday Favorites 3-DVD Gift Set is loaded with lots of holiday fun for your children.  Celebrating not only Christmas, the DVD's also address other holidays in December such as Hanukkah and Kwanza. The Holiday Favorites collection includes "Barney Christmas Star," "Frosty Friends," and Barney Night Before Christmas."  While they were all great, I mostly enjoyed "Frosty Friends" because there were several different holiday shows from HIT entertainment including Bob the Builder, Kipper, Thomas and Pingu. The other two Barney shows were fun because of the pure joy of the holiday songs sung, searching for a Christmas star, as well as taking a journey to Santa's workshop.  Your kids will LOVE these! These favorites are great for the whole family to sit down and enjoy. And I'm not going to lie, I could watch Christmas stuff ALMOST all year long lol! There are several fun Bonus features i

Ride to a Witch at Gardner Village this Weekend!

Our family went to Ride to a Witch at Gardner Village last weekend and loved it! My 4 and 2 year old had a great time learning about witches stew, awesome spooky dance moves, and how to bury a cockroach. :)  Speaking of Cockroaches...those were the tickets! We then waited in a line that went FAST and took a ride to the Witches.  We went just as it was getting dark which is what I prefer because everything is lit up, but you can also go during the day. My kids had a great time participating and my favorite part was seeing them do the spooky dance!  It's rare to find an activity where I don't have to chase down my boy.  The fact that he was entertained was amazing!  I would definitely go again next year.  We met 4 different witches that were all fun and not too scary :) Ride to a Witch is open this weekend and is $5 per person. You can also buy pumpkins ($3, $5, & $7) and they have pony rides for $4 per person. Friday, 10/28 6pm to 8pm Saturday, 10/29 10am to 8pm

My Better Homes and Garden Fall Tabletop

Now that my kids are a bit older, I'm trying to decorate for holidays and seasons. And I want the kind of decorations that can be used year after year.  Through Walmart.com I was able to pick out some Better Homes and Garden items for a fall tabletop.  I chose a black wire basket , a 16 piece dinnerware set . and a tablecloth .  All were reasonably priced, especially the basket for $6.41 including tax! I didn't realize until I set it all out that the design on the plates and tablecloth kinda match...well not really match , but they are similar enough that it looks like its a set.  Now when I have guests come over  everyone will have pretty dinnerware :) And the scuffs on my table will be unnoticed.  I really wanted the wire basket for bread.  I just finished taking a community bread class so I'm hoping to fill the basket often.  We'll see...laziness often wins out. I would recommend the above Better Homes and Garden products.  Great quality for the money.  All of
