Summer Sports Clinics is ready to begin on Aug 6 th .  The four sports that they will be working on are Basketball, Flag Football, Soccer, T-ball. Tiny Tots: ages 2-4 are at 10:15 am-11:00 am,  Mighty Mites: ages 4-7 from 11:00 am-12:00 pm,  Super Sport: ages 8-12 from 12:00 pm-1:00 pm. The Cost is $25 for four one hour sessions with a tee shirt.  Classes are every Saturday 8/6 - 8/27 and will be held at the Central City Recreation Center. 615 S. 300 E. Winner YUM!  Anyone else crave peanut butter on a regular basis?  Krema is a great brand to try!  They are the oldest peanut butter in the country.  They do not add salt or sugar so they pick the best #1 Runner-split peanuts from Georgia.   Krema Peanut Butter is easy to spread even though you store it in the refrigerator. When you open the jar you'll find oil on top.  This is because the peanut butter is natural and has no hydrogenated oils in it.  The oil on top is pure peanut oil and can be easily mixed.  Refrigeration will slow the separation.  If you like your peanut butter less runny (It's not runny in my opinion) then just drain some of the oil.  It's custom peanut butter :) One of my favorite deserts to make is Peanut Butter Bars .  I prefer to use chunky peanut butter with this recipe.  It freezes great and it's hard to only eat one. :) Krema has some great Peanut Butter Recipes on their blog!  I want to try PB Roasted Chicken & Spicy Soba Noodle

Frecklebox has a bunch of coloring pages available for FREE on their site!  Just pick which ones you want, personalize it, then print and color!  You could make your own coloring book. :) I just printed out the princess carriage one and it has my daughter's name also ON the carriage--ADORABLE!  Guess what she's doing this afternoon.... instead of reorganizing my tupperware drawer. :)  Make sure to print or save to your computer some with parents and/or grandparents names!  Makes a nice gift! .

Winner I tried out Shredded Coconut from Tropical Traditions .  It is cut very small so it can be added easily to certain recipes.  I used it to make granola bars and they were excellent!  I used this Granola Bar recipe .  Only instead of raisins I used chocolate chips..lol  And then I added ...maybe a cup of shredded coconut.  We are coconut lovers here. :)  I also use almonds instead of walnuts.  Those changes make this the best granola bar recipe that I've made!  I just hate making them too often because I eat WAY too much. The Shredded Coconut is NOT sweetened.  It is organic and free of additives, and no sulfites are used to keep them white.  Tropical Traditions has some great recipes including: macaroons :)  I think I'll try that next.  Search for Shredded Coconut to find more recipes!
