COOL!   Gas Buddy is an app that compares gas prices to stations around you! AND it's currently FREE! Mindful Dough has a list of 6 more (most FREE) that will help us cut costs. Another one I really like is Cost Cutter .  It quickly adds up how much money you would save but cutting something out.   Might help with the motivation to start eliminating things in your budget. .

Adventures of a Thrifty Mommy has a great tip on how to reuse cereal bags!  The bags can be used to make cracker crumbs or to crush nuts since they are strong enough for a rolling pin.  It's a lot cheaper than using ziplock bags!  I just wasted a ziplock bag crushing graham crackers the other day! $402.18 That was my April grocery/toiletry budget number.  Not bad really, but my goal is $300..lol  hence....loser.  Anyway,  I plan on doing better this month.  I do WAY better when I always know where my budget is at.  Last month I put all my receipts in an envelope like I always do but I didn't add it up until just now.  That method will help you spend more every time. :) .
