GIVEAWAY: ReVamped Designs!!! Aimee's Adventures in Home Decor #4 -CLOSED-

Do you believe in reusing? Well, even if you don't, you will be converted when you see ReVamped designs by Akeara.  One of her motto's is to "give stuff a second chance at life." I love that.  I could tell by conversing with Akeara that she puts a lot of heart into her work and enjoys what she does.  This makes buying from a person like Akeara easy.

I was fortunate to try a super cute candle holder. It looks adorable in my house.  I also tried to put some pictures on it too.  It looks good with small pictures as well as the black votive candle holder Akeara sent.  You could definitely get creative with not only this item, but many of the other items Akeara has listed on Revamped Designs on Etsy.

ReVamped Designs has a variety of products.  Her most popular items are her picture frames.  Akeara also customizes colors to go with your decor.  She also has cute cake stands, cup holders and more for you to choose from.  You have to keep looking back because she keeps adding unique fun items to her site.  The cake stands would be a cute way to display and serve your pecan pie (I don't like pumpkin pie lol!) for Thanksgiving!

ReVamped Designs is hosting a Christmas Cottage open house craft fair for crafters and artists.  This will be held in the Avondale, Arizona area.  This will be a great way to meet new crafters and get new ideas for your home.  There are still a few tables left. Check with ReVamped designs by Akeara on Facebook.  It will be held November 12, 9am-3pm.

Gardner Village Series: Country Furniture & Gifts

Gardner Village is a local treasure. If you've never found your way down there, October is the month to do it!  The shop owners love Halloween! The village becomes a witch village and many times, shop owners will even dress up.   On my most recent trip to Gardner Village, I stopped in at Country Furniture & Gifts which is a store very ready for Halloween.

The store is located in part of the old restored flour mill built in 1877 by Archibald Gardner in West Jordan, Utah.  The store is very family oriented and houses many built-to-last items such as dining room tables, sofas, beds and chairs.  They are also famous for their rug room where many of their rugs are still USA made. As they say, "A rug makes a huge impact for a minimum investment to any room."

The home accessories and giftware are amazing!  They have all sorts of decor for all sorts of personalities. Please be sure to pay them a visit.  It's worth it!
