GIVEAWAY: Nature's Path Organic Gift Pack! (US) -CLOSED-

Winner

When I met my husband he was on a diet of cereal and salad..lol  Is he a vegetarian?  no...just not a cook.  Plus at the time he was re-doing his kitchen so he didn't even have a counter..lol  Anyway Nature's Path Organic is one of our staples now.  We (even the kids) love it!  I especially liked the Pumpkin Spice granola bars.  Anything with pumpkin seeds in it is a winner in my book. :)  We were able to try the following and all are excellent:

Crunchy Maple Sunrise delivers an organic blend of corn, rice, flax, quinoa, buckwheat and amaranth.   It is a sweet and nutritious option for those avoiding gluten, but don’t worry, with yummy maple flavor, there’s plenty of great taste for everyone at the breakfast table!

Nature’s Path Love Crunch is the perfect marriage between the whole grain goodness of flax granola; the sweetness of strawberries and the tartness of raspberries; and the decadence of coconut and dark chocolate chunks.  Inspired by a true-life love story and philanthropic endeavor, Love Crunch was created by Arjan Stephens, son of Nature’s Path’s founder, and his wife, Rimjhim as a wedding favor for those who helped celebrate their marriage.  In lieu of wedding gifts, the two asked guests volunteer in their communities.  Now a limited edition cereal sold at Whole Foods, for every box of Love Crunch sold, Nature's Path will donate $1 – up to $25,000 – to the Whole Planet Foundation to help empower poor women around the world to lift themselves and their families out of poverty.

Pumpkin-n-Spice Granola Bars are a flavorful organic snack option sure to satisfy any craving with mineral-rich roasted pumpkin seeds, Omega-3 rich flaxseeds and a dash of cinnamon.  Proving good things really do come in small packages; the new bars are packaged in a more sustainable box with 36% less cardboard, saving 472,000 gallons of water and 46 tons of waste yearly.

Right now Nature's Path Organic is giving away a year's supply to a lucky winner who tells them what they are doing to leave the earth better than they found it.   Winner will be chosen 4/29!

I like that they have reduced their packaging, they use soy based ink on packaging - thus they have the environment in mind when producing their product

I'll do both: I entered their contest and I like that they put the ingredients of their products right on the web page for everyone to see. And oh yeah ... their products don't contain HFCS or hydrogenated oils. Yay! Thanks for giving us this opportunity!

they have great values-they make organic food because they believe in sustainability: Arran grew up hearing his father say these words often “Always leave the soil better than you found it." It’s become one of our guiding principles, and it affects every element of our business today.

I love that Nature's Path really walks the walk. It seems like a lot of products these days claim to be organic and natural (and the companies behind them claim to be socio- and eco-conscious), but it often seems like a ruse to be competitive and gain sales. Nature's Path truly cares about and acts to improve the world.

Wow. Had no idea: 408.55 lbs/acre of synthetic fertilizers (produced with fossil fuel) are no longer needed as organic relies on nature’s own fertilization methods!

GIVEAWAY: ERGObaby Carrier! -CLOSED-

Winner I have carried my little boy in a baby carrier since he was born. I love the convenience of strapping him in and not worrying about the hassle of a bulky stroller. It's also a comfort to hold my little guy close and safe. When I had the chance to review the ERGObaby carrier, I was thrilled to try something that could extend my baby wearing days. My first test was a true one...Costco. I admit that I didn't really look at the directions when I put the carrier on in the parking lot. But I didn't need to! After one look at a picture in the user manual, I strapped my 20 pound boy in, placed my little girl in the shopping cart, and started on my way through the aisles of Costco. I immediately noticed that the carrier more evenly distributed my son's weight than my normal carrier and held my boy high so my legs weren't bumping into his. This made it significantly easier to tote him around the store. Indeed my normal trips to Costco are exhausting. But
