I found this Homemade Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup recipe on Allrecipes.com and have made it several times now. It's super easy and GOOD so I thought I'd share.
Ingredients:
2 cups chocolate chips (approx.) I like semi-sweet.
1 cup peanut butter - I prefer chunky :)
1/4 t salt
1/2 c. powdered sugar
First get some paper muffin cup liners and cut them in half.
melt half of the chocolate chips in the microwave for 1 minute, stir, then microwave again for another minute.
use a spoon to draw the chocolate up on the sides
cool in the refrigerator until firm.
mix peanut butter, sugar, and salt together
spoon into cups
melt remaining chocolate and put over top
spread to the edges
let cool until firm...then EAT!
The paper comes off well with a tiny bit of work, but worth it for the crinkly
edges. :):)

I want to try this recipe!
for the peanut butter part to be almost exactly like the reeces PB Cups:
1 cup peanut butter
2 cups powdered sugar
½ cup melted margarine
5 Graham Crackers smashed (I put in ziploc bag and let my 2yo jump on them...lol)
These are ULTIMATE.
The graham crackers is the secret ingredient that takes place of crunchy pb and gives it the perfect crunch and texture just like reeces!
I made a batch of 100 of these for xmas/husbands bday, and gave him half. His half was gone in a little more than a day. (And I'm sure he didn't gain a pound...ugh.)
I always want to eat them all too. I feel good about myself If I save a couple for my husband. :) lol
