Tight Wad in Utah

So with this recipe I was an idiot and a genius!  I made this a lot last year and when I made it again the other day I thought it tasted more savory then I remember.  THEN I realized I totally forgot to add the brown sugar....idiot.  It was fine, but the sugar makes it the DELICIOUS recipe that it is. :)  When adding the brown sugar I heated it up a little and made a spider web...genius!  Maybe that's an overstatement, but cute right? Creamy Pumpkin Soup (based on this recipe ) 2 T brown sugar 1/2 t ground cinnamon 2 c chopped onion 2 T butter 4 cans (14.5 ounces) chicken broth 1 29 ounce can of pumpkin puree (make your own puree) 2 t salt 1/4 t ground ginger 1/4 t ground black pepper 2 cups whole milk Saute onion in butter in saucepan until tender. Add 2 cans of chicken broth Stir and bring to boil Cover, reduce heat, and simmer 15 minutes Transfer mixture to blender Blend until smooth Return mixture to saucepan Add remaining 2 cans of chicken broth Add

I just bought The Hunger Games  using my Swagbucks -- thanks to all the positive reviews from my Facebook post!   I usually buy baby wipes with them but I wanted something for ME...lol Swagbucks is just a search engine like Google that rewards you for using it.
