I had quite a few garden fresh tomatoes, so I decided I would make spaghetti sauce from scratch with homemade meatballs .  I just wish I had made extra sauce to freeze...on the bright side, we did have leftovers for later this week. I followed a very good recipe from All Recipes . There were a few minor changes I made which I indicate below. Winder Farm Nonfat Milk is $2.69 at Rite Aid!  That's the regular price!!  Cheapest I've seen it.  If you go to Rite Aid Video Values you can print 2 $1/1 non-prescription purchase coupons after you watch 2 commercials. After you watch them go to the Rewards Tab at the top and print.  You can of course use these on something other than milk.  :)  I believe you need 2 $1 or more items to use both...but I could be wrong.  You may be able to use both to get the milk for 69 cents since the amount is over $2. I've only confirmed that they sell Winder Milk at the SLC store.  You might want to call ahead if your going to a different location. Also Winder Whole Milk is $2.99 I'll have my full Rite Aid trip up soon....it was awesome. :):)

My husband is from southern Spain and he grew up eating fish about 3 times a week.  I'm from El Paso, Texas and the only body of water nearby is the Rio Grande; not exactly fish country.  Luckily he married a woman who loves fish.  We try to eat it about six times a month. This last week, I made British Pub food for dinner. On the menu was fried, battered Cod, chips (fries) and mushy peas . COD: I bought one fillet of cod and cut it up into about six pieces.  Then I dipped it in flour which I had seasoned with garlic salt and pepper. The next dipping was in egg . (Two eggs beaten together). Finally, I dipped it in Panko and made sure all the pieces were nicely covered. I fried the cod in extra virgin olive oil until done. CHIPS: We peeled and diced five medium sized potatoes .  Pieces were fried in extra virgin olive oil until done.  We then placed them on a plate lined with a paper towel to soak up some of that oil.  We sprinkled them with some coarse salt .
