I didn't do much shopping this week but this is what ended up in my food storage. Smiths General Mills Cereal (buy 4 boxes get $6 off) $2.89 -varies use (2) $1/2 printable use Shortcuts .55/1 Original Cheerios  -Honey Nut no longer available (I heard that you can't stack e-coupons with printables, but it's still happening - most of the time I have no idea what coupons are on my rewards card so it's a nice surprise..lol) = $3.21 or .80 a box! Werther's Original $1.25 use $1/2 printable = .75 each! Whole Foods Muir Glen Tomato Paste .99 used  (2) .751/1 printables - no longer available Total $5.16 this week on Food Storage!  :) Did you find a great deal?? Find a frugal recipe?? All day tomorrow there will be a festival going on at 9th & 9th (east of Libery Park in Salt Lake)!  There will be lots of food and live music.  AND there's a new Gelato place!!  Hopefully it will be open. :) Go here for more info . .

I used to buy my printer ink at Costco because it was the cheapest I could find in stores (before my coupon obsession days).  Then I found 1ink.com .   I can buy 10 cartridges for $50.98 Shipped!  That's about $5 each!  At  Costco online  it's around $40 just to get 4 cartridges! This is the deal I got: I bought 2 of the above set Subtotal = $59.98 FREE Shipping w/orders over $55 (Ships FAST) Used coupon code SEP15U to get 15% off TOTAL $50.98! When I return them empty to Staples I'll get $20 back in Staples Rewards ! Now I'm no printer ink expert but I've been using G&G Eco Saver ink for almost a year now and have not noticed a difference from the Canon brand name ink.  Is there a difference?  If I can't tell, I don't care..lol.

My beautiful little boy was born 10 weeks early.  At birth he weighed 2 lbs 3oz. Six months later, he's up to 14.5 lbs! He's amazing!   Similac and Enfamil make great formulas for preemies.  My baby boy's digestive system prefers Similac .  The problem lies in that I have coupons for every sort of formula EXCEPT Similac! I wrote their customer relations department and let them know that my baby and I prefer to use Similac. I proceeded to ask if there was anything they could do for us. They sent me 8 bottles of formula and $10.75 worth in coupons!  Each can costs $15.49 (for a tiny 12 oz can) so any little bit helps!  They were so nice, too.  I like dealing with nice companies. :) Here's a picture of my baby boy for fun. The other day I created my own Taco Soup recipe!  It was delicious and easy to make! 1/2 of a large onion (diced) 1/2 of a medium bell pepper (diced) 2 Tbsp oil 1 pound of ground beef 1 pkg Taco Seasoning (Old El Paso) 1 can kidney beans (drained and rinsed) I can garbanzo beans (drained and rinsed) 1 can pinto beans (drained and rinsed) 1 28 oz can of diced tomatoes Dash of garlic salt 2 cups of water Top with: Grated cheese (colby, cheddar or whatever you prefer) A dollop of sour cream Avocado slices First heat up oil in a pot. Once hot, add onion and bell pepper until onion is translucent.  Add ground beef and taco seasoning until beef is thoroughly cooked.  Add the remainder of the ingredients and bring to a boil.  Once plated, add cheese, sour cream and avocado slices.  Enjoy with a side of tortilla chips if you desire.  To enjoy with less calories, leave out the sour cream, cheese and chips :) Veronica

These paper dolls are so cute!!  I like her wardrobe better than mine. :) ---I'm serious. I posted about this awhile ago but I just got around to printing and cutting them out.  I found some slightly thicker paper to print it on. This one doesn't have tabs so I drew some on the shoulders and it works great! Cutting is the hardest part.  I wouldn't look too close at the picture..lol  But my almost 3 year old LOVES them!! LOVES them! This would be a great gift for a little girl!  Just cut them out and put them in a nice box. :) Go here for some more printable paper dolls! Thanks Fantastic Find!
