If your interested in food storage at all,  Preparedness Pantry is a great blog to check out!  It's a great resource if your trying to build or maintain your storage.   They are offering 2 ways to earn $10 gift cards to Emergency Essentials !   I just got mine in the mail today for putting their button on my blog (which I would have done anyway).   Go here for the details so you can get a $10 gift card too! Another feature of theirs is the Food Storage Analyzer .  You just plug in what you have and it tells you what you need!  It also has TONS of recipes so you know what to do with it all.  At first you enter how many are in your family and their ages so it's totally personal to your needs.  If your serious about building a food storage, this is a great asset!  One thing to note- if your buying items from them then it's easy to add to the analyzer.  If your entering your own items it will be quite a project since it asks for nutritional information.  Good info to have

I went shopping 3 times this week and spent $30.92.   Pictured is what's going in my food storage!  Before "couponing" I never added much to my storage, because I never had extra in our budget.  Now it's just not an issue.  And this is just from a week!  It adds up. btw- I got the organic pasta for .80 and the tuna for .09!

Salt Lake's Jazz Festival is July 9 - 11th at Washington Square in Salt Lake.   Through Groupon you can get a single day ticket for $8 !! (orig. $16) To learn more about the festival and to see the line-up, you can go to the website .    It looks like a great time!  Seth MacFarlane (from Family Guy ) will be performing, plus they have music clinics for all ages and skill levels.  I wonder if they'd let me try the Tuba...

Goldfish are on sale at Smith's for $1! use .50/1 printable  (Thanks  Totally Target !) = FREE!  (will round up to $1 until 6/29) Print it TWICE! You can also load a .50/1 Goldfish cracker or a .75/1 Goldfish Graham e-coupon here . ( gone )  I got 4 for free plus .75 overage!! (I don't know why, I didn't buy the Grahams...) UPDATE:  The e-coupon on Smith's site is gone but there is one for the Goldfish Grahams on Shortcuts ! The ad say's these are $1.25 but at the Salt Lake store they were labeled $1 and rang up that way too.  Either way...CHEAP!

About the sale, my store was completely stocked...no bare shelves.  I had 2 Smith's coupons that DID NOT double so you may want to watch that.  E-coupons came off great!  Maker sure to load your cards before you go! This is Jodi's incredible trip to Smiths!: I use d lots of coupons, shortcuts.com, and a $25 credit loaded onto my fresh values card for transfering a prescription to Smith's. My out of pocket was $0.12!  Hooray! Thank you Jodi!

Are you signed up for Rite Aid's Wellness program yet??  If you shop at all at Rite Aid...it's a must.  You earn points for rewards (much like the Smith's Rewards Card) AND you get +Up rewards!  It's a coupon that prints on your receipt for cash back when you buy certain things! After you sign up you will also be able to print a $5 a off $25 purchase coupon ! AND you'll get $50 worth of Rite Aid coupons sent your email! Today's Favorite Blog is Make Ahead Meals !  She features a great recipe and then does a link up so you can see other ideas across the blogosphere.  They all look so good! She also has a great post about choosing the right steak .  Great for me because I never know.

I'm back!! What a crazy few weeks! We finished school, got summer started (which has been just as busy), and then my computer crashed (and continues to have occasional hiccups, I might add), so I have been unable to post for a few weeks! Kudos to Audrey for all her hard work on here alone! Here is a recipe I did last week and have been anxious to post - enjoy!! 3 bananas 2 small cans mandarin oranges green grapes (some - use your own judgment on how many) 1 pkg strawberries 2 small pkg vanilla pudding 1 pint buttermilk 8 oz cool whip In a 9 X 13 pan, mix all the fruit together. Add as many grapes and strawberries as you want, till it looks good to you. In a medium bowl, mix together the pudding, buttermilk and cool whip. Mix in pan with the fruit, and serve. Yummy!!
