This is my cute kid showing me her new shoes.  (she's sleeping with them right now....they are not on her feet though.  She's caressing them like a little baby. lol) I also bought her the shirt.  The shoes were $6 and the shirt was on clearance for $7.49 plus 50% off that making it $3.74. My total was $5.47! (including tax) Through tomorrow Old Navy is taking 50% off already marked down stuff. Wahoo!  And because I have an Old Navy card I got a coupon in the mail for $5 off ANY purchase!  So that's what I used. A lot of people ask me where I find deals.  Most of the time it's from other blogs.  (Check out my blog roll to see my favorites.)  Following them on Twitter saves TONS of time!  I don't know why it took me so long to sign up.  I guess I didn't see it's coupon value. :)  Twitter also helps with time sensitive deals....and there's a lot of those!   So if you don't need/want one to tell all your friends what your ironing at the moment, you could use it to stay current on all the ways to save money.   You can sign up here and Follow Me here .

A reader asked what to do with Hummus besides dipping it, so I thought I'd show you what I do.  I've easily used 2 packages doing this throughout the week. I make wraps with them using tortillas I start by spreading the hummus and adding a little honey mustard. Then just top it with what you got.  I used Havarti, tomato, and sunflower greens that I grew myself!! My husband also adds meat.  Way good!
