Here is something that is going in my box. :) Go here and sign up for their newsletter, get a DVD for free and just pay $2.99 shipping.  This is the one I got but there are a few others to choose from. Mega Swag Bucks Day!!!

I usually don't post about this because it happens every Friday and I usually don't reap much benefit...but I just won 4 Swagbucks !! Since December I've earned $15 in Amazon gift cards!!  Wahoo! Sign up here , then you just use their search engine (along with what you normally use) to earn Swagbucks .  You can redeem them for gift cards or prizes.  Fridays you have the potential of winning more than the usual 3ish a day.  45 equals a $5 Amazon Gift Card.  Once you get going it adds up pretty quick. Im still debating on whether Im going to save them up and pay for Christmas or use them to buy wipes. :)

Preparing for Utah's Big One

After recent events our family is really trying to prepare for an emergency.  Lately we have been good about our food storage and with coupons we have done it without adding cost.  I want to do the same with a 5 day household pack including personal disaster kits. I got my information from here . So my plan is to start looking for deals on some of the following items.  I will post them so you can make a 5 day household kit with me if you want.  My goal is to put this all together with little extra cost. LIST: Medications, a list of prescriptions, copies of medical insurance cards, doctors’ names and contact information. First aid kit and handbook. Spare eyeglasses, personal hygiene supplies, and sturdy shoes. Bottled water. Whistle (to alert rescuers to your location). Emergency cash. Personal identification. List of emergency contact phone numbers.   Snack foods high in calories. Emergency lighting—light sticks and (or) a working lashlight with extra batteries and lig

I browned them first for just about 4 minutes each side Then added all of the ingredients into the crockpot I let it cook for 6 hours on low and served over rice.  We didn't even need knives!
