Pecan Pie


I was craving pecan pie the other day, so I made us some!  I didn't want to buy corn syrup though because I would need to use only a portion of a cup.  I searched for a recipe that didn't use corn syrup and found one!

Ingredients
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
The directions are from Allrecipes.com and are easy as pie.  Sorry, I couldn't resist. :-)

The only change I made was adding pecans to the top of the pie.
This was the perfect autumnal dessert for this Texas girl.
