Our Christmas Tree & Food Storage

We got our tree delivered last night from Prepaid Christmas Trees!  It smells amazing!!  We're in the process of finding where I stashed the ornaments last aggravating..

I have had a good day though,  I went to Emergency Essentials and bought 3 cans of food storage!  With my $20 in gift cards I spent $6!  See how you can get $20 too.

I also bought the Daily Deal!  72-Hour Food Storage from Wise Foods for $29!  It includes 2 Lasagna, 4 Chicken Ala King, 2 Creamy Chicken Pasta, and 4 Stroganoff (which I have never successfully made.  Mine always tastes like feet)
This all has a 25 year shelf life!!  We're really trying to build up our food storage on the cheap.  Can you tell? :)

That is a gorgeous tree. How do you keep it fresh and from dropping needles when it's this early? We always wait to cut ours until 2 weeks before Christmas because they always die if we don't. Where is the prepaid tree program through?

My husband assures me that a freshly cut tree will stay nice if you keep the water in the reservoir filled. We will see :) I got this for $35 through Groupon. One of the deciding factors was the free delivery :) Here's there website:
