Hi Audrey!
I have a question about Rite Aid for you...

I (as well as all my couponing buddies) have been having MAJOR troubles at the Bountiful Rite Aid. Monday I went in and asked the store manager if the coupon policy meant that I could use two BOGO coupons for two items, making them both free and he said Yes I could.

Well today a friend of mine tried to do the same deal WITH the manager, and he told her NO she could not. The deal only applies when the STORE has a BOGO sale.

SO, we called corporate. Who called the store manager, and told us we could use multiple coupons for 1 item...so now we are more confused than ever! Do you know more about the new policy and interpretation of the part about BOGO??

It says, "We accept two coupons for the purchase of two items that are on Buy One, Get One Free Promotion."

What is YOUR interpretation/experience with Rite Aid and BOGO Coupons??

Hi Hillary! I have only done this when the store has a BOGO sale and then use a BOGO coupon to get them both free.

Using the word "promotion" makes me think they are referring to their own sales. Seems like you'll just get the deal the current manager wants you to get. :)

Hillary- my interpretation of the Rite policy is that you can only get 2 free items when there is a BOGO free sale going on. Here is the logic: in that case the manufacturer is paying for 1 item because of the coupon and the store is paying for the other item because of the sale. However, if you use 2 MFR BOGO coupons on 2 items then the MFR would be paying for both items, rather than someone else paying for 1 and the MFR the other. I believe that is what "Buy one get one free" coupons mean- that the MFR pays for only 1 of those items. I believe that using 2 MFR BOGO coupons on only 2 items is not simply inappropriate, but actually wrong. Hope that makes sense :)

GIVEAWAY: ERGObaby Carrier! -CLOSED-

Winner

I have carried my little boy in a baby carrier since he was born. I love the convenience of strapping him in and not worrying about the hassle of a bulky stroller. It's also a comfort to hold my little guy close and safe. When I had the chance to review the ERGObaby carrier, I was thrilled to try something that could extend my baby wearing days.

My first test was a true one...Costco. I admit that I didn't really look at the directions when I put the carrier on in the parking lot. But I didn't need to! After one look at a picture in the user manual, I strapped my 20 pound boy in, placed my little girl in the shopping cart, and started on my way through the aisles of Costco. I immediately noticed that the carrier more evenly distributed my son's weight than my normal carrier and held my boy high so my legs weren't bumping into his. This made it significantly easier to tote him around the store. Indeed my normal trips to Costco are exhausting. But after…
