My AWESOME Smith's trips (yes, trips) this week!!


So, if you haven't already noticed, Smith's is having one HOT sale this week! When you purchase participating items in increments of 8, you get an automatic $4 off. Unfortunately, hot sales usually = empty shelves, which is why I had to do my shopping over 2 days. But, it was well worth it!! Here is what I got:

Trip #1: (price / price wyb 8)

1 box Trix $1.98/$1.48
used $1/1 coupon (came with the free cereal samples in the paper several weeks ago)
= .48

1 box Golden Grahams $1.98/$1.48
used $1/1 coupon (same as above)
= .48

3 boxes Total $1.98/$1.48
used .75/1 SS 7/18
= .73

4 BC Fruit snacks $1.99/$1.49
used .50/2 GM 8/8
= $1.24
(also, received $2 catalina, to make them .74)

2 eggs
= .50

1 Kraft 100 calorie cheese bites
used FREE coupon from Kraft First Taste

4 Sobe .98/.48
= .24

3 Sunny D $1.28/.78
used .25/1 SS 8/8
= .53

Also, used my $5.00 Rewards certificate.
Grand total = $7.24



Trip #2:

3 boxes Trix $1.98/$1.48
used $1/1 coupon (see above)
= .48

2 boxes Golden Grahams $1.98/$1.48
used $1/1 coupon (see above)
=.48

2 Powerades .98/.48
=.48

4 Pillsbury crescent rolls $1.69/$1.19
= .94

5 Kraft cheeses $3.29/$2.79
=$2.79 (received $5 catalina to make them $1.79)

1 Kraft homestyle mac and cheese

Also used $2 catalina from trip #1.
Grand total = $16.71

And to top it off?? LOTS of BoxTops for my kids' school!!! Not too shabby!

thanks for sharing- this will be helpful for my upcoming smith's trip. just curious because we haven't tried the Kraft homestyle mac and cheese at our house yet- do you like it?

I haven't actually tried it yet. I used the free coupon to try it for the first time :) Hopefully it's good- I'll let you know! :)
