Website Sharing Your Information

Spokeo is a website where you can look people up and see their address, email, PICTURES, income info...etc. Yikes!! Thanks to Coupons 4 Utah for the heads up!

I searched for me and my husband. Luckily he wasn't on there, but I was! Here is how you get your info taken off:

-Go here and search for yourself
-When you find yourself (lol) copy the url so you can paste it here.
-You'll need to enter your email address
-They will send you an email with a link, click on it and you will be removed. whew...

I checked it out about a month ago and I wasn't on there so I checked some of my family members and it did list some of them but the information on all of them was really inacurrate. I guess even with incorrect information you should still remove yourself. Better safe than sorry.

How do you know they'll really remove you? Maybe you're just adding to their database by giving them your email address...

I know! I thought of that. I went back after and searched for myself and I was gone. I'd rather they have my email then anybody being able to get my address.

I found both my husband and I, but the funny thing was his ex-wife was listed with us! I had us both removed. I found my brother so I sent him your blog address to get the info.
