Pizza Dough

(I apologize for the dark picture. Not one of my stronger points :) )

1 c. warm water
2 tsp sugar
2 pkgs yeast
2 c. flour
1 tsp salt
dash garlic powder
2 tbsp shortening

Combine water, yeast and sugar. In separate bowl, combine flour, salt, and garlic powder. Add dry ingredients to wet ones. Add shortening. Cover; let rise till doubled in bulk (about 1 hour). Roll out on pizza sheet. Bake at 400 degrees 10 minutes; add toppings and bake additional 10 minutes (or follow baking instructions for recipe given).
