New feature - Gardening

Being the "tightwads" that we are, we decided that growing and using our own food was definitely something we wanted to feature on our blog. Hopefully, we can help you find the best deals on plants and seeds and, when it comes time, use those items from your garden. Whether you have a big spot for a garden or a small one, it's always nice to be able to grow your own food. (You can even grow stuff in a trash can!)

This coming week, I plan on visiting several places and price checking on plants. I actually ran into a good deal a few days ago at Fresh Market. Although they didn't have a huge selection, they did have their tomato plants and green pepper plants on sale $1.50/4 pack. I thought that was pretty good! They looked great and I'm sure they'll grow just fine. I may wait just a bit longer to plant them, though, as Utah weather is so unpredictable in the spring!!
