My Trip to Winco

Here is my trip to Winco today. While it doesn't represent a huge percentage of savings (only about 29%), I think that is all relative to the store you are at sometimes. Winco, like Walmart, generally has the lowest price around, so there are no additional discounts for sales to factor into a percentage. This being said, I bought 44 items and paid $49.00, using $20 in coupons. That's an average of almost $1 per item. Some of the my great finds today:

Dole Pineapple - .88
Used .55/2 from here
=.60 each

Nalley Chili - .48 with in ad coupon

Hy-Top Milk - $1.66/gal

Potatoes - .58/10 lb bag (this price was better than the ad!!!)

Strawberries - .97

Poptarts - .98 with in ad coupon

Cheerios - .98 with in ad coupon
Stacked with $1/2 SS 3/7
= .48

Nabisco Cookies - $2.28
Used Facebook coupon Buy 1 and 1 gal milk, get 1 cookie free
Also, had $1/1 for Oreo cakesters
=Best Cookie and Milk Deal I've seen for this coupon!!

Jimmy Dean Sausage - $1.38
Used $1/1 RP 1/31
= .38

French's Mustard - $1.64
Used .50/1 SS 3/21
= $1.14

Honey Kix - $1.98
Used $1/1 internet coupon (it expires today!!)
= .98

Bandon Medium Cheddar Cheese 2 lb - $2.98 with in ad coupon

Bananas - .46/lb

I was also impressed with their price for Crisco ($4.12) and yeast ($2.94). Those are some of the lowest prices I've seen out there for these items.

Anyone else find other great deals at Winco this week?

GIVEAWAY: ERGObaby Carrier! -CLOSED-

Winner I have carried my little boy in a baby carrier since he was born. I love the convenience of strapping him in and not worrying about the hassle of a bulky stroller. It's also a comfort to hold my little guy close and safe. When I had the chance to review the ERGObaby carrier, I was thrilled to try something that could extend my baby wearing days. My first test was a true one...Costco. I admit that I didn't really look at the directions when I put the carrier on in the parking lot. But I didn't need to! After one look at a picture in the user manual, I strapped my 20 pound boy in, placed my little girl in the shopping cart, and started on my way through the aisles of Costco. I immediately noticed that the carrier more evenly distributed my son's weight than my normal carrier and held my boy high so my legs weren't bumping into his. This made it significantly easier to tote him around the store. Indeed my normal trips to Costco are exhausting. But
