2010 Gift Box

Since I've been actively looking for deals and spending less money, I've bought things for cheap or gotten stuff for free that Im now putting in a Gift Box.  So when holidays and birthday's roll around I'm prepared.  Because what usually happens is I wait until the last minute and end up buying something lame and not on sale.  This is what I have so far and it is included in my $218 total.  I have no extra budget for gifts yet this year....maybe with this I won't need one.

Swagbucks and Shop At Home are helping as well.  Both are free sites that reward you for doing what you already do online.  Since last month I've earned $15 in Amazon gift cards and $23.22 with little to no extra effort.  It's not a mortgage payment, but it eliminates a need for a gift or Christmas budget :)

I need a bigger box....  and its only January!

Thats kinda funny that your doing a gift box. At Christmas I decided to do almost the same thing. I have Rubbermaid totes for each kid. And use it for fun things that I find throughout the year. For Easter, Birthdays, potty training prizes, bribes.. (LOL)and whatever is left goes toward Christmas. (I hate shopping at Christmas. You have some GREAT Ideas!!! THANKS

GIVEAWAY: ERGObaby Carrier! -CLOSED-

Winner I have carried my little boy in a baby carrier since he was born. I love the convenience of strapping him in and not worrying about the hassle of a bulky stroller. It's also a comfort to hold my little guy close and safe. When I had the chance to review the ERGObaby carrier, I was thrilled to try something that could extend my baby wearing days. My first test was a true one...Costco. I admit that I didn't really look at the directions when I put the carrier on in the parking lot. But I didn't need to! After one look at a picture in the user manual, I strapped my 20 pound boy in, placed my little girl in the shopping cart, and started on my way through the aisles of Costco. I immediately noticed that the carrier more evenly distributed my son's weight than my normal carrier and held my boy high so my legs weren't bumping into his. This made it significantly easier to tote him around the store. Indeed my normal trips to Costco are exhausting. But
